RMT Contribution Rate – 2009

The membership contribution rates for 2009 have now been calculated in line with the provisions contained in the Rule Book. The weekly rate for adult/full time members is increased by 21p effective from 1st January 2009. This increase is the application of the rate of inflation at September 2008 plus 1% in accord with the unions’ rules. Contributions rates for junior and part-time workers will be held at 2004 levels. The new rates applicable are as follows:

Accident Benefit

In accordance with Rule 17, Clause 1, Accident Benefit will also increase arising from the higher contribution rate. For Adult/Full Time members the rate will be:
